Using Swag as Packaging
Product packaging is an often overlooked and missed opportunity in the world of branded merchandise. Think about the last time you placed a swag order - did you consider what it will be packaged in? If your answer is yes, that gives us the warm fuzzies. If your answer is no, grab a coffee, sit back and let's take you on a product packaging journey.
One off branded giveaways like T-Shirts at a tradeshow may not require extensive packaging but when you are thinking of doing kits, VIP gifts or want to create an exceptional experience around your branded giveaway, thinking about product packaging is essential.
The most obvious purpose of product packaging is to protect the product from damage, but it can also be used as a vehicle for marketing and a tool to convey your brand's messaging. Carefully crafted and well designed product packaging can make for a great user experience and will encourage the recipient to use the product more often - prolonging the shelf life of the product and in turn your brand.
Plus investing in reusable packaging is good for the environment! Here are 8 instances of swag being used to package swag - swag Inception!
