: The practice of presenting an image that is environmentally friendly, usually for marketing points, when your actual practices are still harmful behind the scenes.

How Do We Fix Greenwashing?
Greenwashing could fix itself the more that consumers become aware of it. Instead of taking everything at face value, it's more about learning the process behind the product or the company and making sure the claims are backed up.
On the other side of things, it starts with brands taking responsibility, to tell the truth, and not deceive people simply by tossing around words that might make them seem like they are helping the environment.
