Supporting LGBTQIA2S+ businesses and organizations is important all year round, not just during Pride Month. But this year, as discriminatory legislations are being passed, it is more urgent than ever to offer them our support - through our purchases AND our voices.

Buddies In Bad Times Theatre

Established in 1979, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre is Toronto’s leading destination for artistically rigorous alternative theatre and a world leader in developing queer voices and stories for the stage. Buddies offers a year-round program that includes a full season of queer theatre, new works festivals, artist residencies, and intergenerational training and education initiatives. In its 40-year history Buddies has welcomed over one million people into its home in the heart of Toronto’s queer village and has premiered over 1,000 new works for the stage, making it the largest and longest-running queer theatre company in the world.

 

 

Queero Gear

Queero Gear is an artistic outlet for Eric J. Van Giessen, who creates art that aims to inspire queer joy in others. Based in Toronto, Eric’s art has been printed onto mugs, shirts, stickers, and more.

 

 

Glad Day Bookshop

The world’s oldest LGBTQ+ bookshop! Opened in Toronto in the 1970s, this legendary location also serves up meals and entertainment throughout the year.

 

 

Wildfang

A sustainable, gender-neutral line of clothing that promotes inclusivity at every step. Based in Portland, OR, this rule-breaking brand has dressed everyone from Jane Fonda to Janelle Monae. 

 

 

Creamery X

A queer-owned small-batch frozen custard & vegan ice cream in surprising flavours, handmade in Toronto. Each month, they donate 25% of sales of their Charity Flavour to a local organization.
