Rightsleeve Joins the B Corp Movement

Since joining Genumark in 2019, Rightsleeve has been focused on building on our legacy of sustainability and diversity. Now, we are proud to announce that we have joined the B Corp movement as a part of Genumark! A Certified B Corporation is defined as a company that uses the power of business to address society’s greatest challenges. We join the rapidly growing movement of over 6,000 Certified B Corporations from 150 industries across 80 countries, including companies like TOMS, Patagonia, and Ben & Jerry’s.

“Achieving B Corp certification has been a top goal for our company as we seek to expand on our sustainability commitments,” explained Genumark CEO Mitch Freed. “Our team has been working diligently for years to make this a reality, and this certification represents a very proud moment for all of us.”

B Corp companies voluntarily meet high social and environmental performance standards, accountability, and transparency.

As a B Corp, Rightsleeve and Genumark will measure and manage the impact of our business on our workers, community, and the environment with as much rigour as we manage and monitor our profits.“This certification is a testament to our mission to be a force for good and expand how we measure success,” said Elizabeth Wimbush, Rightsleeve’s VP of Supply Chain and Sustainability. “We are thrilled to join the growing B Corp community of like-minded businesses, enabling us to increase the positive impact we can have in the world.”

B Corp Certification is holistic and not exclusively focused on a single social or environmental issue. The process to achieve and maintain certification is rigorous and requires engaging teams and departments across an entire company.  To learn more about B Corp, visit bcorporation.net.
